Career

Kevin has been competing in motor sport since the age of 16. He started to learn his race craft on the small oval circuits. After numerous Championship wins against the best drivers in the country he turned his attention to the long circuits.

In 1994 he joined the inaugural V6 Ford Mondeo Eurocar series as one of the original drivers. During the year he steered the Intersport Eurocar to two outright round victories and finished second overall in the championship after a season long battle with his team mate for this season, Alf Boarer who finished third.

1995 saw Kevin's second season with the V6's, this time with a capacity entry of no less than thirty-nine drivers. despite the additional competition, Kevin maintained his momentum and won four races, achieved four fastest laps and set two lap records en-route to 3rd place overall in the championship.

1996 sees Kevin and the Kennametal Hertel / Intersport Racing Team joining the hand picked ranks of the new 450 brake horse power V8 class.
